Corrections

Corrections should improve the record, not erase it.

Trading-card identities can be difficult: variants, reprints, languages and grading labels may look similar while representing different markets. We correct them against provider evidence.Last reviewed 31 July 2026

Correction workflow

  • Reproduce the issue using the public page and source record.
  • Verify game, set, card code, printing, language, condition and grading label.
  • Correct the identity mapping or presentation without fabricating missing observations.
  • Re-run consistency checks before publishing the change.
  • Update the visible modified date when editorial meaning changes.

Historical observations

A corrected mapping can move an observation to the right card, but it must not turn an asking price into a completed sale or create a price that was never observed. Material series corrections are handled separately from normal daily updates.
