What the byline means
The News Desk byline identifies an original TCGMarketWatch article, not a publisher announcement and not a transcription. Each article has its own headline, reporting structure, context and permanent URL.
The official announcement remains available as a separate, clearly labelled source record. Those source records are excluded from search indexing and link readers to the publisher's page.
Publication standards
- An allowlisted official English-language primary source and an immutable source snapshot.
- A structured fact record that supports the names, dates, products, rules or event details reported.
- Substantive original copy with a clear lead, multiple sections, key facts and reader context.
- A visible source citation, publication timestamp, author identity and correction path.
AI-assistance disclosure
The News Desk may use AI assistance to turn a checked fact record into a draft. Publication checks enforce required facts, minimum substance, source attribution and versioned content; the source article is not republished.
Articles that have not been independently reviewed by a named human editor say so on the article page. The organizational byline must not be read as a hidden claim of individual human authorship.
Corrections and accountability
A material factual or contextual correction updates the article's editorial modified date while preserving the underlying source record. Readers can report an error through the public corrections and contact pages.
