Turning Red Franchise Debuts in Lorcana With Amber-Ruby Song Engine

Attack of the Vine! introduces Temporary Shift and Sing Together synergies built around 4*Town and Meilin Lee glimmers.

Disney Lorcana's Attack of the Vine! set brings Turning Red into the trading card game, anchored by a new Amber-Ruby deck archetype that leverages song cards and a fresh mechanic called Temporary Shift.

New Mechanic Powers Red Panda Synergy

The set introduces Temporary Shift through Meilin Lee glimmers, including Meilin Lee – Popular Red Panda. This Floodborn variant helps close games after the deck's lead vocalist engine begins generating value. A red panda line can open with base Meilin Lee, then leverage the shifted form while retaining three ink for follow-up plays like Meilin Lee – Losing Control to dig for additional songs.

Sing Together Engine and Opening Sequences

Power Panda Pop! builds toward lyrical lore gain through expensive songs and wide board development. Primary openings include Mei Lee – Lead Vocalist or Angel – Siren Singer on turn one into any two-ink character. An alternative path deploys Tyler Nguyen-Baker – 4*Town Fan first, then Powerline – Taking the Stage with its Singer 4 ability. Sing Together Singer 3 on the lead vocalist enables one of the deck's strongest starts. Hitting Ariel or 4*Town off a key song can initiate a snowball sequence.
