The index follows a persistent basket of English cards backed by at least three valid CardTrader Near Mint offers. Each instrument is weighted by price and visible offer depth, with a 2% maximum weight. Missing quotes expire after three accepted closes; new releases enter without changing the prior level. Only completed synchronized closes are appended permanently to PostgreSQL; active offers are not completed sales.
